Welcome to Phoebe Holland Physiotherapy
Phoebe's practice is at Health Space Weston, which is located at Level 1, 14 Brierly Street in Weston, ACT.
Phoebe Holland, MPthy (UC), BSc. (ANU)
Phoebe has over 10 years' physiotherapy experience in the public and private health sectors. She has also undertaken significant postgraduate training. She is passionate about improving her clients' quality of life, and assisting her clients to continue with their work and leisure activities. Through her experience, she understands that prevention is the best way to treat an injury. This means Phoebe utilises interventions to minimise the risk of injury - whether in the work place; on the sporting field; or in an aged care facility. Phoebe aims to empower her patients to be in control of their own health and wellbeing, so that optimal outcomes are achieved.
Phoebe has undertaken further training, and has expertise, in:
* upper limb - hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder;
* workplace and occupational physiotherapy;
* group facilitation;
* dry needling;
* Mulligan technique;
* spinal manipulation and manual therapy;
* pain management;
* physiotherapy instrument mobilisation;
* dynamic stabilisation of the hip;
* tutors in Advanced Functional Anatomy at University of Canberra.
When not working as a physiotherapist, Phoebe enjoys travel; keeping fit and active; working in her family's cafe; and spending time with her husband Ken, and their two dogs.
